AUGUSTA, Ga. - Shannon Hilliard Johnson, 45, of Los Angeles, Calif., was killed Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, in the tragic incident in San Bernardino, Calif., while he and his fellow employees were attending a Christmas party. He died heroically as he acted as a shield for a fellow employee who survived the violent massacre of 14 people. He will be remembered throughout America for his statement “I got you” as he covered her body from the gunfire of the assailants.

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) released the 2014-15 Presidential Honor Roll on June 22, 2015 with a record 1,607 student-athletes recognized and 94 Georgia Regents University student-athletes were represented. The Presidential Honor Roll recognizes all student-athletes at the 14 PBC member institutions who had a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the academic year.
