The Jaguars (27-6) will make their first national final appearance against either Bentley or Winona State on Saturday at 2:30. The game will be televised nationally by CBS.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- The Augusta State Jaguars trailed by 14 midway through the second half and were down by six in overtime, yet managed to rally and edge Central Oklahoma 106-104 in double overtime Wednesday afternoon in the first game of the NCAA Elite Eight at the MassMutual Center. The contest marked the first double overtime game in Elite Eight history since 1982.

Jags Named PBC Favorite
AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Augusta State Jaguars have been favored to win the 2007-08 PBC Championship in a poll of the league’s head coaches released on Thursday. The Jaguars received eight first-place votes for 97 points, 11 ahead of Clayton State in second place. Columbus State was third followed by GCSU, Armstrong Atlantic State and USC Aiken. Coaches were not permitted to rank their own teams.
