WICHITA, Kans. – The Augusta University men's basketball team had a one-point game with under three minutes to play at Division I powerhouse Wichita State on Saturday afternoon in exhibition action, but the Shockers survived the Jaguars for a 73-67 win in Koch Arena. Augusta All-American senior Keshun Sherrill led all scorers with 33 points as the Jags nearly shocked the Shockers.

Sherrill logged more minutes than any player on the floor and was 9-for-21 from the field and six-for-12 from three-point land. Sophomore Tyvez Monroe ended up five-of-12 scoring from the floor and four-for-five at the free-throw line to total 16 points.
Sophomore center Andrew parker gave the Jags seven points and three rebounds and sophomore Aaron Byrd six points and five assists.
