AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University men's and women's basketball teams host the 2017 Homecoming games in Christenberry Fieldhouse on Saturday, Feb. 18 against Lander University. The women's game tips off at 1:30 p.m. and the men follow at 3:30 p.m.
During halftime of the women's game AU Athletics will honor the 1992 women's basketball and women's tennis teams who will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the 92' Peach Belt Conference Championships – the first PBC titles in school history.
In between games, Augusta Athletics will hold the 2017 Senior Day ceremony to honor our basketball, cheerleading, and pep-band seniors! Jaguar Hoops will celebrate seniors Kayla Lovett, Breonna O'Conner, Tavia Sykes, and Keshun Sherrill.
The 2017 Homecoming coronation ceremony and crowing of the Augusta University King and Queen will take place during the men's halftime on the Christenberry Fieldhouse gym floor.
The weeklong Homecoming festivities culminate with a tailgating party at Christenberry Fieldhouse. Tailgating will kick off at 11:30 a.m. and Augusta University departments are encouraged to join the pre-game fun by showing their Jaguar pride with a tailgating space.
Alumni are also invited to the Office of Alumni Affairs' Homecoming Alumni Tailgate from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fieldhouse and the J. Fleming Norvell Golf House. Admission is $15 before Feb.12 and $20 after that date. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org Phone: 706-737-1759
