      AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University men's basketball senior Vlad Cobzaru received the Elite 15 Award from the Peach Belt Conference on Thursday afternoon. The award is presented in each of the league's championship sports to the student-athlete participating in the conference tournament with the highest cumulative GPA.  Modeled after the NCAA Elite 90 Award, 2017-18 is the sixth season the PBC has presented the honor.

The Jaguars played their first game in overtime this season and broke the 100-point mark for this first time this season. AU averaged 76.5 points per game entering the night.
