  • Europe Reclaims Arnold Palmer Cup at Formby Golf Club

    FORMBY, England – Augusta University men’s golf senior Robin Petersson and Team Europe defeated the United States, 18.5-11.5, to reclaim the Arnold Palmer Cup at Formby Golf Club. Team Europe bettered Team USA for the second straight day in singles, 5.5-4.5. The United States now leads the all-time series 10-9-1.

    FORMBY, England – Europe dominated the third round singles matches to extend its lead to 13-7 at the Arnold Palmer Cup at Formby Golf Club. Augusta University men’s golf senior Robin Petersson is competing for Team Europe and the host side earned seven of the 10 points available on Saturday and need only 2.5 points to reclaim the Arnold Palmer Cup.

The annual Ryder Cup-style competition will be played June 24-26 at Formby Golf Cub in Formby, England.

Petersson is representing Team Europe in the Ryder Cup-style competition and the first round foursomes pairings teed off on Friday morning.
