Jags Post Seven On ITA All-Academic List
SKILLMAN, N.J. –The GRU Augusta men’s and women’s tennis programs combined to put seven student-athletes on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s (ITA) 2014 Scholar-Athletes list, while the Jaguar women were also named an ITA All-Academic Team for their hard work in the classroom throughout the 2014 season.

Men’s Tennis Ends Year In National Ranks
AUGUSTA, Ga. –The GRU Augusta Men’s Tennis team began the 2014 portion of their season ranked nationally in the top 25 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association and the Jaguars ended the year in the same fashion with a No. 22 spot on the national list of the top-50 universities for Division II tennis.

Gustav Anderson, Victor Guimaraes Named PBC All-Academic
AUGUSTA, Ga. – Jaguar men’s tennis sophomore Gustav Anderson and senior Victor Guimaraes were named to the 2014 Peach Belt Conference’s Men’s Tennis All-Academic Team for their performance in the classroom during the 2013-14 school year, the conference office announced Thursday, May 15.

FLORENCE, S.C. – After dropping their opening match to No. 21 Georgia College in the quarterfinal of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament at Francis Marion University, the No. 23 GRU Augusta Jaguars downed No. 35 North Georgia 5-1 to advance to the fifth-place match against No. 42 Flagler where they prevailed 4-1 on Friday at Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center.
