    AUGUSTA, Ga. – The GRU Augusta men's cross country team was named one of the NCAA Division II Scholar Teams of the Year for the 2014 cross country season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), while Boyd Guttery and Jackson Jacobs earned All-Academic individual honors for the men’s team.

    HOUSTON, Texas. – GRU Augusta cross country and track and field assistant coach and four-time all-American in cross country and track & field for the UNC Pembroke Braves from 2009-13, Pardon Ndhlovu, has made his childhood dream a reality as he sprinted across the finish line of the Chevron Houston Marathon with a time of 2:16:51 to achieve an Olympic qualifying time for his native county of Zimbabwe on Sunday morning.

    AUGUSTA, Ga. – On Saturday, Dec. 6, one year after placing second at the OUC Orlando Half Marathon around Lake Eola in downtown Orlando, Fla., GRU Augusta assistant cross country and track and field coach Pardon Ndhlovu was the first of 3,328 half-marathoners to cross the finish line in the 38th OUC half marathon to claim his first title in the event.

    AUGUSTA Ga., – The GRU Augusta men’s and women’s cross country teams will race in the 2014 Division II Southeast Regional Championships hosted by the University of Montevallo on Saturday, November 22, at the University of Montevallo Cross Country Course in Montevallo, Ala. The men’s 10K starts at 10:30 a.m. while the women’s 6K starts at 11:45 a.m.

    AUGUSTA, Ga. – The men’s and women’s cross country team both moved one position in the updated Division II standings released by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Assosication (USTFCCCA). The Jaguar women climbed up one place to sit ninth in Southeast Region after taking eighth out of 46 teams at the Greater Louisville Classic on Oct. 4, while the men slid dwon one spot to number seven in the region.
