  • Jaguar XC Picks Up Three Student-Athletes In Early Signing Period

    AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University head men’s and women’s cross country coach Adam Ward gained three new student-athletes in the National Letter of Intent (NLI) early signing period. The Jaguars signed freshman Miranda Taylor to the women’s squad while the men picked up freshmen Walker Inman and Chandler Kennedy for the 2017 season.

    NEW ORLEANS, La. – Augusta University cross country freshman Pricilla Cartwright, sophomore Daniel Broadhead, and junior Dylan Forester were named All-Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday morning. All-Region honorees for NCAA Division II Cross Country were recognized following the weekend’s NCAA regional championships meets around the country.

    MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Augusta University men’s cross country team made their seventh-straight appearance at the NCAA Southeast Regional on Saturday morning and finished in fifth place out of 24 teams in the 10K at the Montevallo XC Course. It was the fourth top-five finish for the Jags at the regional in the last seven years and the sixth finish in the top 10.

    AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University men’s cross country team dominated their home event on Friday evening and won the Jaguar Cross Country Challenge at the newly-opened Jackson Cross Country Course and Trails on the Flowing Wells Campus of the Episcopal Day School. Augusta hosted a four mile race with five teams and had six Jaguars finish in the top 10 including first, second, third, and fourth place.
