FLORENCE, S.C. – The Augusta University women's basketball team traveled to Francis Marion University for a Wednesday night Peach Belt Conference game and fell 64-50 in the Smith University Center.
Augusta (4-19, 2-17 PBC) junior Moneisha Goldsborough recorded her first double-double as a Jaguar with 15 points and 11 rebounds and junior Brianna Middleton carded 14 points with six rebounds while battling foul trouble.

Augusta had its worst period in the first when they were outscored 16-9. Augusta held FMU to nine points in the second period and matched 22 points in the third, but the Pats scored six more than AU in the final 10 minutes to take the night and complete the regular season sweep.
The Jaguars struggled from the floor with a 29.4 field-goal percentage and they only hit one three pointer on 10 attempts. Augusta made 19 free throws – eight more than the Patriots, while AU's bench outscored FMU15-5.
The Jaguars continue the road trip this Saturday, Feb. 17 at Georgia Southwestern in Americus, Ga., for a 2:30 p.m. PBC tipoff.
