MORROW, Ga. – The Augusta University women's basketball team played the Clayton State Lakers on Monday night and dropped a 68-50 Peach Belt Conference game in The Loch.

Jaguar junior Cameryn Wilson scored double-digit points for the 10th time this season with 11 total to lead the team. Freshman Kiera Howard posted 10 points, while senior Brianna Middleton added 14 rebounds and nine points for Augusta.
The three-point shot hurt Augusta as they went 3-for-21 (14.3 percent) in the game. Clayton State only rebounded AU by two, but they forced 19 turnovers and scored 24 points off those AU mistakes. Augusta trailed 37-23 to the Lakers at halftime and couldn't recover down the stretch.
The Jaguars have teamed with AU's Testing and Disability Services department for Disability Awareness Night on Wednesday, Feb. 20. The Jaguars host Francis Marion, with the women tipping off at 5:30 p.m. and the men following at 7:30 p.m.
Augusta hosts the 2019 Homecoming and Senior Day games in Christenberry Fieldhouse on Saturday, Feb. 23 against Georgia Southwestern. The women's game tips off at 1:30 p.m. and the men follow at 3:30 p.m. for the final regular-season doubleheader of the season.
