Jags Volleyball Announces Eighth Annual Summer Camp From June 5-8 At Christenberry Fieldhouse

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University volleyball team and head coach Sharon Quarles will host the eighth annual volleyball summer camp June 5-8 in Christenberry Fieldhouse.


The Jaguar volleyball team invites all girls between the ages of 12 and 18 to attend the summer camp and work with the Augusta Jags volleyball squad. The June 5-8 camp is at Christenberry Fieldhouse, located off of Wrightsboro Road from 9:00-3:00 p.m. each day.


The five-day camp at CFH costs $200 per camper. The event is geared towards middle school and high school athletes and will consist of individual skills training with focus on serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and individual defense. Competitions will be held daily as campers will be placed into groups of similar ability to showcase their skills.

Assistant Coach Kadija Fornah

Kadijah Fornah is in her third season as the assistant women's volleyball coach for the Jags after spending time as the assistant men's and women's volleyball coach at Lees McRae College.


Fornah played four years in the ACC at Wake Forest University and finished her four-year term ranking third on the program's all-time kills list. After graduating in 2012, she played volleyball professionally in Italy and recently served as a coach for All American Volleyball.


She helped coach the Jags to their best record in school history during her first stint in 2014.
