GREENWOOD, S.C. – The Peach Belt Conference announced its 2018 Volleyball All-Conference team on Friday night and Augusta University senior McKenzey Beck was named first team, while sophomore Chloe Allen picked up second-team honors.

The PBC announced the All-Conference team and the player and coach of the year awards at the tournament banquet on the eve of the tournament.

Beck (Phoenix, Ariz.) has started and played in every match for Augusta this season and her six triple-doubles are tied for the third most in all of NCAA Division II. She ranks top three for the Jaguars in kills, assists, and digs and was named the PBC Player of the Week two times this season. Beck was also a preseason All-Conference selection this year. This is her second straight All-PBC honor.

Allen (Richmond Hill, Ga.) ranks third in the league in block assists (78) and blocks per set (1.01) and is fourth with 90 total blocks. Her .292 hitting percentage is the fifth-best in the Peach Belt. Allen has also played in all 28 matches so far this season and is third in kills and aces for the team.

Augusta is seeded third heading into the PBC Tournament Nov. 10 and faces sixth-seeded Francis Marion. Ranked third in the latest NCAA Southeast Region rankings, the Jaguars went 21-7 in the regular season and 7-5 in league play. AU's 21 wins are the fourth most in the 34-year history of the program.
