DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Augusta University men's tennis team played its second Peach Belt Conference match on Tuesday and lost a 7-0 road contest against the North Georgia Nighthawks.


Augusta is now 4-4 overall and 0-2 in the PBC. UNG moved to 5-1 and 1-0 in the league.


No. 30 nationally-ranked Patrick Oliveira took the opening set against UNG, but Jess Jones came back to take No. 1 singles. The Nighthawks won the rest of singles and swept doubles for the shutout.


The Jaguars host Anderson on Thursday, Feb. 28 for a non-conference match at 2:00 p.m. in Newman Tennis Center.
