AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2015: Ran in six distance events on the year … Finished in the top five in every single one – including three second-place finishes and a first-place win in the 5000m race at the Cougar Classic on April 4, 2015 … Set personal records in the 3000m (8:42.87), 5000m (14:50.67) and 10,000m (31:46.04) … Helped the Jaguars earn the first national ranking ever at No. 28 on the USTFCCCA list.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2013 (XC): Took home the Coaches Award at the 2014 GRU Augusta Athletics Banquet...Finished in the top 25 at the Peach Belt Championships where the Jaguars took home first place…Raced in all four regular-season meets to finish with four top-25 finishes and two top-10 finishes…Took sixth at the Georgia Southwestern Remembrance Run on Sept. 7th…Finished fourth at the Jaguar Invitational on Sept. 20.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Norcross High School in Norcross Ga., in 2013…Lettered in cross country for all four years under John Williams…Named All-County for his junior and senior year and All-Metro for senior year…Placed seventh at the state cross country meet his senior year and sixth in the 3200m run…Took third at the state cross country meet his junior season and was an honor roll senior.
