The Jaguars clawed back from a 3-0 deficit against FMU (26-15, 5-7 PBC) in the second inning and tied the game with three runs in the fifth. Augusta freshman Olivia Biles grounded out the right side of the infield with the bases loaded to score sophomore Regan Norfleet. AU freshman Lauren Prescott legged out a triple to right field and brought home seniors Kelsea Hunter and Savannah Gabriel to tie the contest at 3-3.

The Patriots loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning and a sacrifice fly to deep right field drove in the winning around as FMU won 4-3.

In Augusta's first at bat, Prescott continued her offensive showcase with an RBI single to right field, before the Jags scored two unearned runs on a throwing error.
