Women’s Golf Heads To Greenville Regional Preview Oct. 17

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Augusta University women's golf team competes in the 2016 Greenville Regional Preview Oct. 17-18 at Brook Valley Country Club.

Hosted by East Carolina University, the two-day, 54-hole tournament was originally scheduled to be held at Ironwood Golf & Country Club, but Hurricane Matthew forced a change of venue.

The 16-team field will play 36 holes on Monday in an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start at Brook Valley on the par-72, 6,122-yard course. The event concludes with another shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18 with the final round.

Augusta tees off with host East Carolina, Illinois, and Oregon in the pairings for the opening two rounds. The Jaguars are ranked No. 39 on Golfstat.com entering the tournament. Illinois is ranked No. 10 and Oregon No. 32 as the only two teams in the field ranked higher than Augusta.
