AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University head volleyball coach Sharon Quarles announced the signing of Cheryke Brian-Garmos (San Juan, Puerto Rico), Amii Ingalls (Evans, Ga.), Karla Rosario (Naranjito, Puerto Rico) and Victoria Wade to National Letters of Intent. The new crew will join the Jaguars for the upcoming 2018 season that begins in August.

Position: Outside Hitter

Height: 5-10

Hometown / Previous School: Evans, Ga. / Greenbrier High School

Quarles on Ingalls …

"We are anxious to get her into the gym with our veteran players and see how quickly we can integrate her into the college game. She is already a solid player that we expect to compete for playing time in her first year."

Ingalls was born in Lawton, Okla., was raised in Evans, Ga. and attended Greenbrier High School for all four years. She is one of two incoming freshmen for the Jags in the 2018 season. The 5-10 outside hitter was named to the Georgia All-State team and was a first team All-Region selection during her tenure. As captain in her senior season, she led the Greenbrier Wolfpack to a 46-3 record, a 6A Region Championship, and to the Elite Eight in the state playoffs.

Name: Victoria Wade

Class: Freshman

Position: Middle Hitter / Right Side

Height: 5-11

Hometown / Previous School: Fountain Inn, S.C. / Woodmont High School

Quarles on Wade …

"We have our sights set on Victoria running out of both the middle and right side positions in her first year. She is versatile and capable to do both and ultimately could become a pin hitter on the right side. She is a very powerful and explosive hitter and a nice addition to our front row of attackers."

Wade was born in Augusta, but grew up in Fountain Inn, S.C. She lettered in four years of volleyball at Woodmont High School and ended her high school career as the most decorated volleyball player in school history. A team captain at WHS, Wade was an All-Region selection in 2015, 2016, and 2017, while setting the single-season kills record as a junior. She received numerous player of the week accolades and she also competed for Axis Elite Volleyball Academy out of Simpsonville, S.C.
