Charlotte, N.C. – The Augusta University volleyball team is now 2-2 on the year after dropping both their matches to Wingate and Queens on Day 2 of the Queens Invitational.

The Jags fell to the #25 Wingate Bulldogs in straight sets in the first match. The first two sets were competitive with only an eight-point differential. The Jags lost 25-22 in the set one, and 25-20 in the second. The team stumbled a little in set three as they lost 25-12. A couple stats of note for the day are the blocking total and service aces for the Jags. They totaled 14 blocks to Wingate's combined nine, along with six service aces to the Bulldogs' one. Juniors Kassie Till and Holland Martin each earned a pair of aces in the contest.

In the second game of the night, the Jaguars lost to the host Queens Royals in straight sets as well. The Royals dominated from the get-go winning the first set 25-18, and the second set 25-14. The third set was much more competitive. In the end, the Royals got the better of the Jags closing the set at 30-28. Sophomore Madison Malloch led the team with 12 kills while hitting .310. Junior Nicolette Ramos had the top hitting percentage for the Jaguars at .320 while notching 10 kills of her own.
