JONESBOROUGH, TN – The Augusta University Men's Golf team finished 14
th at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate hosted by ETSU on Tuesday evening. AU shot a 292 in the first round, a 294 in the second, and a 296 in the third for a combined total of 882 (+18) on the par-72 course at Blackthorn Club at the Ridges.
Host ETSU took the top spot while Charlotte and Louisville took second and third overall. Georgia Southern and UAB rounded out the top 5.
RESULTS
Gareth Steyn led Augusta, shooting a 73, a 73, and a 72 in three rounds of play and finishing tied for 50
th.
Alex van Wyk finished tied for 62
nd and
Hampus Wijkstrom finished tied for 70
th. Wilhelm Berg von Linde and
Dawson Booth finished 81
st and 84
th respectively.
CJ van Wyk finished tied for 79
th while competing as an individual.
