VERONA, WIS – The Augusta University Men's Golf team finished 12^th at the Badger Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin on Tuesday evening. After three rounds of play, the Jags shot a 298 in the first round, a 296 in the second, and a 291in the third for a combined total of 885 (+21) on the par-72 course at University Ridge Golf Course.
Illinois State (-8), Sam Houston (-5), and Cincinnati (-4) took the top three spots. Northern Illinois and Wisconsin rounded out the top 5 teams in the competition.
 
RESULTS
 
Wilhelm Berg von Linde led AU, shooting a team-low 70 in the third round of pay. He finished in a tie for 34^th overall
Brothers Alex van Wyk and CJ van Wyk both finished five over and tied for 39^th. After acing the 8^th hole on the second day, Jack Vajda completed the tournament two strokes behind the pair. Gareth Steyn finished tied for 72^nd.
 
Dawson Booth competed as an individual and finished in a dead heat with the van Wyks (+5).

After a week off, Augusta Men's Golf compete in the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate in Johnson City Oct 10-12^th.
