ST. AUGUSTINE, FL- The Augusta University women's basketball team dropped a 73-60 contest to the Flagler College Saints Saturday afternoon. Augusta moves to 9-7, 2-5 in PBC play while Flagler improves to 10-8, 4-4 in PBC play.

Playing without a full roster, the Jaguars found themselves in an early deficit to the Saints. A made layup by
Michaela Lane with 8:04 left to play in the second quarter shrunk the Flagler lead to three points. A three-point bucket from
Zairya West with forty seconds left in the half sent Augusta to the locker room down 35-23 at the half. Both team shot 50% from the free-throw line in the first half, but Flagler was able to sink five three-pointers while AU only hit one.
In the third quarter, another made three pointer by
Mone Florence cut the lead to single digits. Flagler was able to answer, defeating the visiting Jaguars 73-60.
Kennedi Manning turned in a double-double in the contest, scoring 17 points and grabbing a game high 15 rebounds.
Autumn Phillips carded 11 points and 4 rebounds.
Kiera Howard added 8 points to match her 8 rebounds.
Flagler was led by Tori Pierce's 23 points.
