Columbus, Ga – The Augusta University Women's basketball team wrapped its season with first-round loss to Columbus State in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament Wednesday evening. The Jags fell 57-60, putting a cap on a 15-13 season.
 
After being down 24-31 at the half, Augusta was able to shrink the deficit to within 2 points in the final few minutes of regulation. The late push wouldn't prove enough and Columbus will move to the semifinal round of the PBC tournament.
 
November Morton led the offensive effort, turning in 15 points. Kiera Howard had 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals on the night. Zairya West matched her 10 points. Kennedi Manning led the Augusta rebounding effort with 12.
