MADISON, WI- The Augusta University Men's Golf team sits in 12^th place after the first day of action at the Badger Invitational at University Ridge Golf Course.

The Jaguars are +11 through the first 18 holes after rain pushed the opening round from Sunday to Monday.

Freshman Ian Pienaar leads Augusta, currently in a tie for 16^th after carding a 71 in the opening round. In the round one, Pienaar moved to -1 after birdies on Nos. 2, 6, 16, and 17.

Wilhelm Berg Von Linde is tied for 24^th after registering a round of 72. Hampus Wijkstrom is 1-over and tied for 37^th, while Behn Heyns is tied for 66^th at 5-over. Dawson Booth is tied for 76^th at 6-over.

At the individual tournament at Pleasant View Golf Course, Jack Vajda is tied for 22^nd (+15).

The Jaguars return to the course Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. and are paired with Nebraska and Cincinnati. Live scoring is available through Golfstat and can be found here.
