COLUMBUS, Ga – The Augusta University women's basketball dropped a 74-66 contest to Columbus State. The Jaguars are now to 11-5, 4-2. Columbus State improves to 9-5, 3-3 PBC.
Kennedi Manning led Augusta scoring with 22 points.

Columbus State capitalized on second chance points, scoring 13 points to Augusta's 7. AU won the battle in the paint, scoring 42 points to the Cougar's 28.
Augusta found themselves down early, trailing 5-11 six minutes into the game. A minute later,
Je'Bria Fullwood was fouled and hit a free throw to bring the score to 10-11. A 4-0 scoring run put the Cougars back up five points entering the second quarter.
The Jags answered with a 5-0 run of their own to open the quarter and notched the contest at 17-17.Columbus State extended the lead to seven heading into the second half.

Kennedi Manning put the Jaguars within striking distance in the third quarter, but steady offense by the home team showed propelled them to a 74-66 victory.
Kennedi Manning led scoring for Augusta, carding 22 points and 5 rebounds. The senior was 9-for-13 from the field.
Tomiyah Alford scored 14 points and led the AU rebounding effort with 6 rebounds.
Autumn Phillips added 11 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds.
Kiera Howard added 8 points and six assists before fouling out late in the game.
