The Augusta University women's basketball team is ranked No. 25 in the latest D2CSC Division II Media Poll released on Tuesday. Augusta is 4-0 headed into a matchup against Francis Marion on Wednesday evening.

"Our team is continuing to work towards our ultimate goal and taking the steps in the right direction to do so," said head coach Celeste Stewart. "Looking forward to continue to see our team grow through the course of our season."
 
Augusta is also ranked third in the latest D2CSC Regional Poll behind Carson-Newman (1) and UNC Pembroke (2). Augusta is the only Peach Belt Conference school represented in the top 25. 

The Jaguars also started the 2023-24 season 4-0, leading to the team's best finish since 2015. A highlight of the Jag's early slate was the defeat of No. 10 Fayetteville State on the road. Augusta is led in scoring by Mone Florence's 13.3 points per game and Je'Bria Fullwood's 8.3 points per game.
