Augusta Battles for 4-3 Victory Over Mount Olive

AUGUSTA, Ga – The Augusta University Women's tennis team battled to take a 4-3 nonconference victory over the visiting University of Mount Olive Trojans. Augusta improves to 3-2 with the win. 
 
Priscilla Landi and Giovanna Patrocinio got things started with a 6-3 victory at the No. 3 doubles. After dropping at the No. 2 slot, Andrewa Gonzalez and Juliana Martinez secured the point with a dramatic 705 finish at the No. 1 doubles spot.
 
In singles, Patricocinio and Martinez won their matches in straight sets. Andrea Gonzalez helped grab the Augusta victory with a 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 come-from-behind victory at the No. 2 singles.
