AUGUSTA, GA – The Augusta University men's tennis team dropped a tight match 3-4 to the visiting Middle Georgia Knights. Augusta is now 3-2 overall. The Jaguars will travel to Sumter, South Carolina on Sunday, Feb. 11 to play Barton in a neutral site match.
Herick Isago and
David Perret turned in the only doubles win at the No. 2 spot, dominating 6-1.
In single, Augusta took 3 of the six matches. Isago defeated Guillermo Louis 7-6, 6-3 at the No. 2 spot.
Elie Azoulay nabbed the win in three sets, defeating his opponent 7-6, 6-3, 6-2. At the No. 6 spot,
Arthur Valette won convincingly, 6-1, 6-1.
