GREENWOOD, SC – The Augusta University women's tennis team took a commanding 6-1 PBC victory over Lander on the road Tuesday afternoon. The Jaguars improved to 9-3 with the win, 1-1 inside conference play. Augusta is set to travel to Dahlonega on Monday, April 1 to take on North Georgia in PBC action before hosting Georgia College at home on April 3.
 
AU started off strong,  taking two wins in doubles to secure the doubles point.

Madeline Frediani got the team off to a strong start with her 602, 6-2 straight-set victory at the No. 1 spot. After Juliana Martinez won by opponent retirement, Priscilla Landi, Camila Taborga, and Giovanna Patrocinio each took wins in two sets.
