COLUMBUS, ST -  The Augusta University men's tennis team defeated Lander 4-3 to advance to the PBC semifinals. With the win, the Jags avenged a mid-season loss to the Bearcats. Augusta will take on No. 1 seed Flagler in Columbus, Georgia, on Saturday, April 27, at 1:00 pm.

TOURNAMENT INFO

AU found themselves down 0-1 early after dropping two of the three doubles matches. After stumbling at the No. 1 singles spot, Herick Isago won a three-set match 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 at the No. 3 spot.

At the No. 3 singles spot, senior Quentin Cano Perez battled for a 6-4, 6-7, 6-4 victory to even the score at 2-2.

Elie Azoulay and Arthur Valette came in clutch, winning their matches at the No. 5 and No. 6 singles spots in straight sets.
