Augusta Women's Basketball Releases 2024-2025 Schedule

AUGUSTA, GA - Augusta University head women's basketball coach Celeste Stewart has announced the 2024-25 women's basketball schedule. The new schedule is made up of 28 regular season contests, two scrimmages and includes 13 home games in Christenberry Fieldhouse.

"We are looking forward to the 2024-25 season. Once again, we have a very competitive non-conference schedule with playing seven out of ten games on the road. Our non-conference opponents consist of NCAA Appearances and top-seeded opponents in their respective conferences. The level of competition will prepare us for the Peach Belt Conference play. Our season opener will be a Conference Challenge, hosted by North Greenville University. We look forward to competing and finishing our non-conference play at home." 
 
Augusta kicks off the 2024-25 season with two exhibition games. AU will be at home in an exhibition against Claflin on Oct. 19 and then will travel to Hartsville to face Coker University on Oct. 27.
 
The Jaguars will begin regular season play at North Greenville University in competition with the Trailblazers on Nov. 8 and then face Barton College on Nov. 9.
 
Augusta will play their first home game of the regular season against Newberry College in Christenberry Fieldhouse on Nov. 13. The Jaguars will finish off November with two road games, competing against Fayetteville State on Nov. 16 and Francis Marion on Nov. 20, followed by a game back at home against Belmont Abbey Nov. 23.
 
The Jaguars start December on the road against Converse on Dec. 4 and then host USC Beaufort in the first Peach Belt Conference game of the season on Dec. 7. Augusta finishes 2024 on the road versus Livingstone on Dec. 13 and at Benedict Dec. 22.
 
New Year's Day will be the final game before conference play begins as the Jaguars host Emmanuel.
 
Augusta will be at home on Jan. 4 versus Columbus State, followed by a road game against Clayton State (Jan. 8) and at rival USC Aiken on Jan. 11. The team returns home for a two-game stretch again Flagler Jan. 15 and at Georgia Southwestern Jan. 18. January finished with a road games against Lander (Jan. 22) and at North Georgia (Jan. 25), followed by a home matchup versus Georgia College on Jan. 29.

After hosting Columbus State a month prior, the Jaguars will travel to the Cougars home floor on Feb. 1. A two-game home stand begins with AU facing Clayton State on Feb. 5 and then rival USC Aiken on Feb. 8. The Jaguars go back on the road for another two games against Flagler on Feb. 12 and Georgia Southwestern Feb. 15. The final games of the month begin at home against Lander (Feb. 19) and North Georgia (Feb. 22) before the Jaguars travel to Georgia College on Feb. 25.

Augusta's regular season ends on the road at USC Beaufort on Mar. 1.

The Peach Belt Conference Tournament will take place in early March. The PBC tournament quarterfinal and semifinal games will be held March 5-6, followed by the finals on March. 8.
