MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Augusta men's cross country team finished second at the 2025 Peach Belt Conference Championships on Saturday morning, hosted by Georgia College in Milledgeville, Ga. The Jaguars placed five runners in the top 11 and six in the top 15 to earn six All-Conference honors.
RESULTS
Augusta recorded a team time of 2:07:21 and averaged 25:28 across its scoring five.
Junior Andrew Helfers led Augusta with a third-place finish in 25:06.0, followed by senior Nasrudin Mohamed in sixth (25:15.9). Freshman Caleb Darsey placed ninth in 25:38.2, junior Oscar Curry was tenth in 25:40.1, and freshman Jackson Musto rounded out the scoring five in 11th at 25:41.0. Junior Eli Corn finished 15th in 25:50.0, giving Augusta six runners on the PBC All-Conference Team.
Senior Noah Shepherd was named to the Peach Belt Conference All-Sportsmanship Team.
Additional finishers included Francisco Palacios (26:25.6), Luke Brand (26:28.9), Sam Segrist (26:42.3), Seth Eye (26:48.6), Connor Mumford (26:57.3), Benjamin Hall (27:07.6), DJ Oakes (27:14.8), Shahzeb Rashid (27:47.0), and Noah Shepherd (28:29.7).
The Jaguars will compete next at the NCAA Southeast Regional on Saturday, Nov. 8, hosted by Wingate University in Wingate, N.C.
