AUGUSTA, GA – The Peach Belt Conference announced its 2025-26 women's basketball preseason poll on Wednesday, with Augusta selected third among the league's 11 teams. Sophomore standout Quinasia Abercrombie was also named to the PBC Preseason All-Conference Team.
Augusta is coming off a strong 2024-25 campaign that saw the Jaguars finish third in the league standings with a 20-9 record. The Jags return PBC Freshman of the Year Abercrombie and introduce ten newcomers to the lineup as they look to continue their rise in the conference.
"We look forward to the season officially starting," said head coach Celeste Stewart. "We are continuing to learn and grow as a team and are excited about the Peach Belt Conference competition this season. Quinasia is well deserving of the Pre-Season All Conference honors. She has continued to grow from her freshman year and has put in the work to earn the recognition she has received."
