BEAUFORT, SC – The Augusta women's basketball team wrapped up the regular season with a 61-44 road win over USC Beaufort on Saturday afternoon. The Jaguars improve to 20-8 overall and 12-6 in Peach Belt Conference play, while USC Beaufort falls to 6-20 and 4-14 in the league.

After a slow first quarter, Augusta turned up the pressure defensively, outscoring USC Beaufort 17-8 in the second quarter to take a 31-26 lead at halftime. The Jaguars held the Sand Sharks to just 18 second-half points, using a dominant fourth quarter to secure the victory.
Quinasia Abercrombie led Augusta with 15 points and five rebounds, while Je'Bria Fullwood added a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Amari Jackson contributed 10 points and six rebounds, and Sierra Burns provided five points off the bench. The Jaguars dominated inside, scoring 38 points in the paint and winning the rebounding battle 45-35.
NEXT UP: Augusta opens the Peach Belt Conference Tournament at home on Wednesday, March 5. Final brackets will be released on Sunday.
