AUGUSTA, GA- The quarterfinals of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament will be held on Wednesday night, with the Augusta women as the No. 3 seed. Their quarterfinal matchup will be against Lander at Christenberry Fieldhouse, with tipoff scheduled for 5 p.m.

This will be the third meeting between the two teams, as the Jaguars defeated the Bearcats twice just two weeks ago. The teams played back-to-back games, with AU winning 70-58 in Augusta and 58-53 in Greenwood, S.C.

The players understand that the postseason brings a higher level of intensity, but AU head coach Celeste Stewart is focused on keeping the team composed.

"I think you try to approach every game the same and just think of it as another game," said Stewart. "I think for us too, the last time we played Lander, it was intense, so I think that was a good test for us and we were able to keep our composure on the road."
