AUGUSTA, Ga. –  Augusta University men's track and field student-athletes Elijah Corn, Roberto Barrera, Shahzeb Rashid, Michael Chatman, Gabriel Best, and Gabriel Carson have been named to the 2026 Academic All-District® Men's Track & Field/Cross Country Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

The Academic All-District® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the classroom and in competition. Honorees are selected from NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA institutions. The six Jaguars represent Augusta on the NCAA Division II list.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® recipients will be announced later this summer.

To qualify for Academic All-District® honors, student-athletes must be at least sophomores academically and athletically, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and meet sport-specific participation requirements.
