Augusta, Ga. - The Augusta women's golf team made great strides in the spring portion of the season and finished in the top 10 of all seven events they played in. Not just that, the Jaguars posted three finishes in the top 10 and a fourth place finish in the West Coast Conference Championship. 

AU started the spring with a third place finish at the BGSU Intercollegiate. In that event, Marine Legentil finished in fifth place. 

The team followed that up with a fourth place finish at the Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate. Sara Adams and Sofia Valera each posted top 10 finishes. 

The Jaguars then posted back-to-back third place finishes at the More Than Golf Invitational and the Shootout at Wachesaw. Freshman Puntita Pawichai was seventh and fourth respectively in those two events.

Augusta closed out the year with a fourth place finish in the conference championship with Valera finishing ninth and Adams 13th. 

Valera would be named honorable mention to the All-WCC team.

The Jaguars also saw a massive leap in the national rankings going from being ranked #150 to finishing the year at #104.
