CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Augusta University women's cross country team finished ninth overall at the Queen City Invitational on Friday evening, totaling 275 points in the 26-team field.
The Jaguars finished ahead of Peach Belt Conference opponents USC Aiken and USC Beaufort, while Georgia College placed eighth. Augusta also finished ahead of Division II programs Lenoir-Rhyne, Mount Olive, Lees-McRae, UVA Wise, Virginia Union, Belmont Abbey and Barton.
Sophomore Josabeth Graciano led Augusta in the 5K, finishing 53rd overall with a time of 19:33.4.
Freshman Reagan Paine was the Jaguars' second finisher, crossing in 20:13.2, followed closely by sophomore Elkin Regina in 20:15.9. Freshman Adeline Althen finished in 20:20.1, while freshman Allison Moore rounded out Augusta's scoring five in 20:31.3.
Brie Andrews finished in 20:47.2, followed by Gabriella Burton in 21:00.5, Carlee Hodges in 21:23.7 and Lily McDonald in 21:24.2.
Kylee Geveke crossed in 22:28.6, Jupiter Boers finished in 22:53.2 and Anna Biondolillo completed the race in 24:11.9.
