Augusta University senior Madison Thomas qualified as an individual for the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 22, and placed 169th overall at the Wayne E. Dannehl National XC Course in Kenosha, Wis. Thomas competed in the women's 6K championship race and crossed the finish line in 22:29.4. She earned her national berth by finishing among the top two individuals not on a qualifying team at the NCAA Southeast Regional.

Augusta University junior Olivia Rodriguez qualified as an individual for the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 21 and took 201st at the Tom Rutledge XC Course on a cold Saturday. Olivia Rodriguez made her debut at the NCAA Championships and competed in the 6K race with 247 competitors. Rodriguez finished 201st with a time of 23:18.5.
