Alex Wennstam competed for the Jaguars from 2010-2014 and willaide head coach Jack O’Keefe for the 2014-15 season.

Wennstam competed in 11 events in his final season as a Jaguarfrom 2013-14 and compiled 32 rounds. He shot par or better ateam-high 12 times and posted a 66 (-6) for his lowest round of theyear at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate on March 25th,where he also carded his best finish of the year with eighth placeoverall. 

As a sophomore in 2011-12, He worked his way into thelineup for the spring season after playing in two events during thefall ... Has notched four top-50 finishes ... After turning in a77.3 stroke average in the fall, has shown marked improvement in2012 with a 74.87 stroke average in 15 spring rounds ... Placed aseason-best eighth at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate,finishing at even-par 216 (72-73-70) ... Opened his sophomorecampaign by pacing the team with a tie for 23rd at the FightingIllini Invitational, closing with a 2-over 72 in the third round atOlympia Fields Country Club  ... Carded a tie for 26th in theCharleston Shootout, including an opening round of 2-under 70 ...Fired a season-best, 3-under 69 in the Jaguars’ home event,the Insperity Augusta State Invitational, in the second round tohelp ASU to force a playoff with No. 1-ranked Texas ... Lefthimself an easy tap-in birdie on the first playoff hole to continuethe playoff to second hole against the Longhorns.

As a freshman in 2010-11, He was in the lineup for fiveevents during the regular season ... Played in all five springevents prior to the NCAA East Regional ... Ranked sixth on thesquad in stroke average at 74.47 ... Tallied four rounds of par orbetter and all but one of his 15 rounds were in the 70’s ...Shot two rounds in the 60’s, including a season-low 2-under69 at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate.
