Carolyn Deady enters her first season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Augusta University softball program. A native of Marietta, Georgia, Deady was a four-year letterwinner at Georgia State University, where she competed in the Sun Belt Conference and earned Commissioner’s List academic honors three consecutive seasons.

A standout at Pope High School, Deady helped lead her team to the 2019 GHSA Softball State Championship and was named the 2019 Cobb County Player of the Year. She was also a 2018 All-State selection and a four-year varsity letterwinner in track and field.

Deady is pursuing her master’s degree in speech-language pathology at Augusta University.
