Loch joined the Augusta University athletic department in 2019-20 as the department therapy dog. He will assist the sports medicine department in all aspects of the program.

Loch, named after the lake area in the CSRA, joined the Jaguars in the summer of 2019.

A golden retriever born in Georgia, Loch is proficient in snuggles, motivation, and cheering people up on a rough day. Animal-assisted therapy began in the early 1990s. This form of therapy uses small and large animals to help individuals deal with mental, emotional and physical issues.
