GREENWOOD, S.C. -- Augusta State fell 3-1 to Lander on Saturday afternoon in Peach Belt Conference action in Horne Arena.

Junior Jessica Howard paced the Jaguars with 12 kills, while freshman Jessica Hanson added 11 kills. Senior Amy Hunt notched 10 kills and freshman Ashley Zappitell netted 41 assists and eight digs. Junior Lindsey Weider tallied a team-high 20 digs.

Freshman Magi Nottingham posted a double-double with 14 kills and 15 digs for the Bearcats, while senior Kay Stewart and senior Kerri Sorensen added 12 digs each.

The Jaguars return to action on Friday, Oct. 10, when they travel to Anderson, S.C., to play a non-conference match against Anderson at 6:30 p.m.
