GREENEVILLE, Tenn.
-- Augusta State fell to Christian Brothers 3-2 and
Montevallo 3-1 on Friday in the first day of play at the Tusculum
Classic.
Junior Jessica Howard paced the Jaguars with 15 kills and freshman
Ashley Zappitell added 32 assists. Junior Lindsey Weider tallied 24
digs.
In game two against Montevallo, Howard led the team with 13 kills
and 12 blocks, while Zappitell had 36 assists.
The Jags (4-6) wrap up the Tusculum Fall Classic on Saturday with a
pair of matches, the first at 10:00 a.m. against West Alabama, and
then take on Tusculum at 4:00 p.m.
