AUGUSTA, Ga. -
Augusta State dropped to Anderson 3-1 on Saturday in a
non-conference match in Anderson, S.C. The contest also marked the
end of the regular season for The Jaguars.
The Jaguars fell to 22-11 on the season, while Anderson improved to
21-12 on the year.
Senior Jessica Howard paced the Jags with 19 kills and booked five
total blocks. Junior Dianna Meyer tallied a double-double with 10
kills and 12 digs, while sophomore Lagi Roberts notched 15 digs.
Senior Lindsey Weider booked 17 digs, and sophomore Jessica Hanson
had five kills and five total blocks. Sophomore setter Ashley
Zappitell posted 35 assists and had eight digs.
ASU is back in action when they compete in the Peach Belt
Conference Tournament, which is slated for Nov. 13-14 in Aiken,
S.C.
