AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Augusta State swept Johnson C. Smith 3-0 Saturday night in Charlotte, N.C., to earn a non-conference road victory and a split of the day's matches. The Jags dropped a 3-0 decision Saturday afternoon to Catawba in Salisbury, N.C.
With the split, the Jaguars moved their record to 9-11 on the season.
Earlier in the day, Rohlfing (11) and Hanson (nine) combined for 20 kills, but it wasn't enough in a 3-0 loss at Catawba. Junior setter Krystin Wahlig recorded 30 assists and 10 digs. Rohlfing managed 11 digs of her own for her ninth double-double of the season.
ASU hosts UNC Pembroke in a Peach Belt Conference contest on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 6:30 p.m., in Christenberry Fieldhouse. The match will mark the first of four straight home events for the Jags.
