AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta State (10-12) rebounded with a convincing, 3-0 non-conference win over the Bentley Falcons (8-8) Friday night at Christenberry Fieldhouse.
The Jaguars outhit the Falcons .272 to .071; they were led up front by Kristen Koch and Alex Rohlfing with eight kills apiece, and seven from Mandy Irizarry. Rohlfing anchored the defense with 11 digs, and Krystin Wahlig had 10 to go with 24 assists.
Paige Tuttle set a new career high with seven blocks, including six solo. ASU combined for 12 total blocks.
Bentley's Kelsey Buckner paced the Falcons with 11 kills and 13 digs, Alex Tator notched 22 assists, and Lauren Colasanti had 13 digs.
The Jags continue their four-match homestand Saturday when they host Francis Marion in a 2:00 p.m., Peach Belt Conference contest in Christenberry Fieldhouse.
