ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Flagler registered a 3-0 Peach Belt Conference victory over Augusta State Friday night in Flagler Gym.
With the loss, ASU slipped to 7-7 overall and 0-3 in the PBC, while the Saints improved to 8-6 and 1-0 in the league.
ASU junior Jenna Keeler paced the squad in kills for the second straight match with eight, while sophomore Alex Rohlfing (six) and senior Mandy Irizarry (five) combined for 11 putdowns. Krystin Wahlig booked 14 assists and Lauren Alverson chipped in 11 assists. Junior Andria Tagarelli carded 15 digs.
Flagler's Emilee Taylor notched a match-high 12 kills and Dianna Craine added nine kills. Amelia Morgan turned in 29 assists and Casey Gnann had 13 digs.
The Saints posted .3004 hitting percentage compared to just .057 for ASU.
The Jags take on Armstrong Atlantic State at 2:00 p.m., Saturday at Alumni Arena in Savannah, Ga., before facing Lynn in a non-conference neutral contest at 4:00. Live stats will be available at www.jaguarsroar.com.
