FAYETEVILLE , NC - The Augusta University Men's Basketball team won a non-conference game against Fayetteville State 74-65. Augusta improves to 3-0 on the season. Fayetteville State moves to 2-3 for the season.

STANDOUTS
The Jaguars put forth a balanced offensive attack. Five different AU players scored in double-digits during the matchup.
Miguel Arnold led scoring with 15 points.

Tyshaun Crawford put up 12 points and 3 rebounds, going 6-for-12 from the field. Â Ja'queze Kirby had 11 points to go along with 5 rebounds.
Tyree Myers and
Darren Lucas-White both carded 10 points. Myers was 2-for-3 from the field and a perfect 5-5 from the free throw line.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Augusta found themselves in an early hole after Fayetteville State went on 10 point run to start the game. A three-pointer by
David Viti with 14:49 left in the first half ended the Jags' scoring drought. After battling back into the game, a made three-point basket put Augusta up 28-27 for its first lead of the game.
Miguel Arnold hit all 3 free throws after being fouled with 48 seconds left on the clock. AU would head to the locker room up 34-29.
The Jags would lead for the rest of game.
Tyshaun Crawford made his presence know in the second half, scoring all 12 of his points after halftime.

AU shot 45.6% from the field (26-for-57). They were 6-for-23 from beyond the arc and 16-for-19 from the free throw line. Both teams were even with 32 points in the paint. Although Fayetteville State held the advantage in rebounding, Augusta scored more points off turnovers.

The Broncos were led by led by Jalen Seegar's 25 points and Darian Dixon's 24 points.

The Jaguars will return to Christennberry Fieldhouse on Tuesday Nov 23
rd at 7:30pm for their first home game of the season against Benedict.
