AUGUSTA, Ga- The Augusta University Women's basketball team extended its win streak to five with a 79-57 non-conference win against Allen. Augusta improves to 6-1. Allen falls to 2-5 with the loss.

The Jaguars were led by
Kiera Howard's season-high 23 points. Going 8-for-9 from the field, the junior showcased her best offensive effort for the season.
November Morton added 17 points.
Kennedi Manning led the team in rebounding with 6.
Allen won the rebounding battle 41-30. Both teams were plagued by turnovers, with Augusta committing 15 to Clayton State's 34. Augusta capitalized, scoring 31 points off turnovers.
Allen scored first, but AU was able to easily pull away to a 14-4 lead.
November Morton hit a 2 three-pointers at the end of the first quarter to give Augusta the 28-16 lead. A made layup by
Kiera Howard to close the first half sent AU to the locker room at half up 48-29.
Augusta commanded the rest of the game, leading by as many as 27 points in the second half.
The Jaguars are back on the road next Saturday Dec 11 to take on Wingate before returning home Monday to play in-town rival Paine College.
